Chapter 7 bankruptcy is for people who qualify by making less than the average income in the state.  In this case, there are no payments to the court.  Filing Chapter 7 bankruptcy costs between $1000 to $1500 depending on the level of service.

How Can I Pay for Bankruptcy if I Already Have No Money?

Some companies will let you make payments on the bankruptcy fees after you file.  This is tricky, because any fees you owe before you file are discharged.  Therefore, there has to be a bifurcated filing.  The good firms will be willing to do this for you.  You will not have to pay anything up front, and you can make small payments after you get rid of your debt and can afford it.
